Seven Sisters

Lenore Jackson

Drawing from myth, folklore, natural history, and her own past and psyche, Lenore Jackson tells stories that are funny, intimate, and moving. Her personal reminiscences evoke memories of limestone creeks, evenings on the front porch, small town treacheries, and redemption. From Greek and Norse mythology to Dorothy Parker and paleontology, her stories are an exquisite blend of profundity and humor. An established Northwest storyteller with a rich Texas heritage, she is also an accomplished writer and musician, and for a number of years she has been a teaching assistant at the Laura Simms Summer Residency. Lenore brings the richness of story to festivals, theaters, retreats, and celebrations.
