Che oke' ten (Paul Wagner) of the Vancouver Island Saanich tribe shares traditional songs and stories of the Coast Salish peoples locally and internationally. He enjoys sharing the warmth, humor and wisdom of these beautiful stories (or "teachings," in the tradition of this land) in an engaging and interactive way, interweaving his Spirit-gifted songs on Native American flute along with traditional tribal drum songs. He feels it is important to keep the traditional teachings alive in the hearts of the people of today's world and to honor the original ancestors of the place in which any gathering of peoples occurs.
